Power Rankings of RAW 9/24
What up Suswrestling readers, Each and every Thursday I will give you new power rankings! Now this week is a little bit different, I usually watch RAW on Thursdays so I've only watch last weeks RAW. I figured that was a great place to start so here..... we...... go!
#10. The Big Show
The Big Show made his return to RAW after being off the show for over a month, by coming out during Brodus Clay and Tensais' match and giving the WMD knockout punch to both superstars. As we saw on Smackdown, he also now the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.
#9 Rhodes Scholars
This newly formed team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, have been on a roll lately and it continued this week. They attacked the tag team champions, Team Hell No, on RAW to send a message that the champs have a target on their back. You have to expect this team to be favorites in the tag team tournament to determine the number one contenders for said titles.
#8 Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio
At number eight we say another tag team in Mysterio and Cara who teamed up with the WHC Sheamus to defeat Alberto Del Rio, Ricardo Rodriquez and David Otunga. the duo have not lost a match since teaming together. The two however, have to watch their backs when it comes to the Prime Time Playas.
#7 John Cena
Yes I know a lot of you will probably think he should be higher on this list. The fact of the matter is though, Cena is hurt and cannot compete so that drops him down a few pegs. Smart thinking on Cena's part this week by using a lead pipe against CM Punk
#6 Team Hell No
Daniel Bryan and Kane who finally got a tag team name, Team Hell No, were at it again this week. This time at a diner role playing, per Dr.Shelby. Once again these segments were hilarious as this is the most entertaining "odd couple" I have seen in quite some time. Later on in the night however, they were attacked from behind by the Rhodes Scholars. This duo better get on the same page soon or they can kiss those titles away.
#5 The Miz
Yes I know, The Miz was defeated by Ryback in less than three minutes. However, he is still the IC Champion. It'll be interesting to see how Miz bounces back after the loss. Miz number five this week but, his time on the rankings might be short if he doesn't step up his game.
#4 Ryback
Speaking of Ryback, he comes in at number four. Ryback has been on such a hotstreak so far and beat his toughest opponent to date, Miz, in less than three minutes. and by the of the night he was face to face the Champ, CM Punk. Could he be the new contender for the title?
#3 Sheamus
The World Heavyweight Champion had a good week with a 6 man tag team victory that included the thorn in his side, Alberto Del Rio. The new foe that Sheamus has to keep an awful big eye on is The Big Show.
#2 CM Punk
CM Punk had an interesting week that included blackmailing the GM, A.J., and declining Cena's match proposal. Paul Heyman doesn't make matters better after he was slapped by A.J.. Punk wants respect and is getting it from me by being number two on this list. CM has been running through the RAW roster for almost a year now but, his biggest obstacle to date could be the monster, Ryback.
#1 Jerry Lawler
This ranking is more of sentimental one than anything else. It was great to see Lawler in such high hopes during his interview from his home in Memphis. Get well soon Jerry!
